With the release of FC 25, EA Sports has made significant updates to its soccer brand, including the long-awaited addition of women’s leagues to Career Mode, additional AI, and a new game mode.
For the first time, the change puts women’s soccer, sometimes known as football, on par with the men’s sport in all game modes. For example, you are no longer limited to what you can do to replicate a pivotal moment for the US national women’s team.
Whichever league you prefer, EA claims to have more realistic player conduct. Player and team tactics are shaped by a new AI model that is based on real data. This model includes current placement that frequently mimics the manner of a genuine squad. Meanwhile, FC IQ updates strategic control.
Multiplayer fans now have access to a new game mode called Rush, wherein teams of five—up to four human players plus an AI goalkeeper—compete against one another in Kick-Off, Clubs, and Ultimate Team. To build a young team, you can also play Manager Career by yourself.
There are now Live Start Points in the standard career that allow you to take charge of teams in response to actual occurrences like player transfers or new managers.
FC 25 will be available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S on September 27. Customers of the Ultimate Edition were able to access it on September 20th. For the most lifelike player motion technologies, you’ll need a modern console or PC, much like with previous FC and FIFA games.
Other than Konami’s eFootball series, there aren’t many good substitutes for EA’s soccer games. It’s clear, though, that EA is still committed to maintaining sales by reaching a wider audience and providing players with more of an incentive to update from previous iterations.
