Deliverance 2: Kingdom Come has been rescheduled from 2024 to early 2025.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was originally scheduled for release in late fall or winter of 2024; however, Techopedia has previously mentioned that there was a chance it may be delayed to 2025.
Our suspicion was confirmed when Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the public relations manager for Warhorse, uploaded a video on X, indicating that the game will actually launch on February 11, 2025, rather than late 2024.
Tobias indicated that the game trailer will be unveiled on August 20 during the Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live showcase, but he did not provide a specific explanation for the delay.
On August 21, Warhorse Studios will also present more than 20 minutes of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 gameplay. At Gamescom, a collector’s edition will also be revealed, and attendees will get to try out a demo.
In the gaming industry, postponing games beyond their initial release dates has become standard procedure. The forthcoming Kingdom Come version will likewise be released after a protracted delay, much like the original edition did.
Nevertheless, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will have twice the amount of content as its predecessor and will feature better animations, new weapons, a grand narrative, and engaging NPCs. The Xbox, PlayStation, and PC will all support playing the game.
