The PC edition of Final Fantasy XVI will launch on September 17th, according to a date officially revealed by Square Enix.
This comes after rumors that a release date was imminent were raised earlier in August when Nvidia announced the game along with their most recent driver.
Since the PS5 console-exclusive launch in June 2023, more than a year has passed, and two DLCs have been released. The Rising Tide will comfort in April 2024 after Echoes of the Fallen touched down in December 2023.
A brand-new PC-specific trailer was also shown. Fans who are impatient can go right into the demo, which launches the game. The demo’s progress will carry over to the full version of the game.
The majority of reviews for Final Fantasy XVI have been positive, yet some ardent fans of the franchise were not pleased with the transition from the more conventional turn-based gameplay the series became renowned for to real-time action fighting.
Final Fantasy XVI PC Preorders are Now Available on Steam and Epic
Compared to the release of the Final Fantasy 7 remake, a few things have changed. While Final Fantasy XVI releases concurrently on both platforms, that game was an Epic exclusive when it first launched and made its way to Steam the next year.
Both of the DLCs are included in the FFXVI Complete Edition, which is now available for preorder on Steam and the Epic Games Store. It includes weapons like the Buster Sword and Curtana, along with redeemable stuff. The game is also available in a stand-alone edition.
