Colombia bests Brazil in Group D despite a tie in the Copa América 2024 daily report

Colombia defeated Brazil by two points to win Group D and advance to the Copa América quarterfinals on Tuesday following a 1-1 draw at Levi’s Stadium.

Here’s what you missed during the last day of Copa América group play:

Costa Rica 2, Paraguay 1

  • Costa Rica placed third in Group D and was eliminated. In its last three Copa América appearances, it has been eliminated in the group stage (2024, 2016, 2011).
